Our Leadership

hallfamilyPastor

As of May 28, 2017, Nativity Lutheran Church's pastor is the Rev. Nathan Hall. Pastor Nathan is new to New England. Together with his family, he will be exploring this part of the world, meeting the people of this community, and helping God's people here discern how the Spirit is working at this time and in this place. A graduate of Valparaiso University in Indiana and Luther Seminary in Minnesota, Pastor Nathan (a Presbyterian in his growing up years) most recently served Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bittinger, MD. Together with his spouse Laura and their two children, Pastor Nathan is excited to be here in the Mount Washinton Valley. His hobbies: Hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, show shoeing, cross-country skiing. The members & friends of Nativity rejoice and give thanks to God for Pastor Nathan and the Hall family. Please pray for Pastor Nathan and his ministry here at Natvity!

Council

The Congregation Council of Nativity is responsible for the direction, programs, and activities of the congregation during the months between the congregation's Annual Meeting. Members of the council are elected to serve a term of three years. All members of the congregation are invited (encouraged even!) to visit the monthly meeting of the council and participate in the important conversations taking place about Nativity's mission. The work of the Church is prayerfully done by the people of the Church. From left:

abiMusic

Nativity recently welcomed Abi (Leonard) Dimitrievikj to serve as our Accompanist. Abi's gift for music inspires the congregation to sing the songs of our faith with enthusiasm and gusto! Music is one of the most important pieces of Nativity's worship expressions. The proclamation of the Word, the sharing of the Meal, the profession of the creeds, the spirit of discernment in our prayer life -- all vitally important. Our singing, though, is one of the things that most all agree keeps us bound to one another. We're thankful for Abi who will help us give praise and thanks to God in song.

carolpicAdministration

Nativity's day to day health can be traced to the administration office in the ministry center and the good work of Carol Viana. Her office hours are M, W, Th, and F from 8 AM to 1 PM. Carol has been working in the Nativity office for many years and is a wealth of knowledge about the greater North Conway community. If you have any questions, Carol can find the answer. Give her a call at (603) 356-7827.

bradpicSexton

We give God thanks for the excellent care given to Nativity's building by our sexton Brad Huddleston. We can feel so good about the beautiful meeting spaces Nativity makes available to the congregation and the wider community. Brad's excellent work does not go unnoticed by the people of Nativity. What a gift he is!
