Our Leadership

hallfamilyPastor

As of May 28, 2017, Nativity Lutheran Church's pastor is the Rev. Nathan Hall. Pastor Nathan is new to New England. Together with his family, he will be exploring this part of the world, meeting the people of this community, and helping God's people here discern how the Spirit is working at this time and in this place. A graduate of Valparaiso University in Indiana and Luther Seminary in Minnesota, Pastor Nathan (a Presbyterian in his growing up years) most recently served Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bittinger, MD. Together with his spouse Laura and their two children, Pastor Nathan is excited to be here in the Mount Washinton Valley. His hobbies: Hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, show shoeing, cross-country skiing. The members & friends of Nativity rejoice and give thanks to God for Pastor Nathan and the Hall family. Please pray for Pastor Nathan and his ministry here at Natvity!

Council

The Congregation Council of Nativity is responsible for the direction, programs, and activities of the congregation during the months between the congregation's Annual Meeting. Members of the council are elected to serve a term of three years. All members of the congregation are invited (encouraged even!) to visit the monthly meeting of the council and participate in the important conversations taking place about Nativity's mission. The work of the Church is prayerfully done by the people of the Church.  Current council members are:

Victor Vitek, Paul Mathieu, Pat Kittle, Dennis Simmons, Annie McKinney, Susan Junkins, Andrew Koplin, Lynn Hjelmstad, and John Heropoulos.

JedWilsonMusic

Nativity's Music Director is Jed Wilson. Music is one of the most important pieces of Nativity's worship expressions. The proclamation of the Word, the sharing of the Meal, the profession of the creeds, the spirit of discernment in our prayer life -- all vitally important. Our singing, though, is one of the things that most all agree keeps us bound to one another. We're thankful for Jed who will help us give praise and thanks to God in song.

Administration

Nativity's day to day health can be traced to the administration office in the ministry center and the good work of Laura MacFeeley. Her office hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 2 PM.  If you have any questions, contact the office at (603) 356-7827.
